Guacamole
appetizer
- 2 pitted and peeled avocados
- 1 tablespoon grated or minced onion
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon chili powder
- 1/3 cup mayonnaise
- Mash avocados.
- Stir in the onion, lemon juice, salt, and chili powder.
- Spread the mayonnaise over the mixture, sealing to the edge of the bowl.
- Chill.
- At serving time, blend mayonnaise into the mixture..
Yield: 1 and 1/2 cups
