Frozen Chocolate Almond Banana Slices

- 1 banana, sliced into 1/4" rounds
- 1/2 cup Hershey's Special Dark chocolate chips
- 1 tblsp butter
- 1/2 tsp vanilla
- 1/4 cup sliced almonds
- Put chocolate chips and butter in a small microwave-safe bowl.
- Microwave at half power for 20 seconds.
- Remove from the microwave and inspect. The chocolate should be melty and lumpy. If the chocolate doesn't melt after stirring, microwave again at half power for 10 seconds at a time until it does.
- Stir in vanilla.
- Using a toothpick or fondue fork, swirl a banana slice in the chocolate, then set it on a piece of waxed paper. Sprinkle almond slices over it and press them in gently.
- Repeat with the other banana slices.
- Freeze the bananas for an hour or more before serving.
